Dear Lord,

Thank you for holding on to me when my grasp is weak and feeble. I rest and trust in you when my mind fails me. Thank you for making me aware of how frail I am. Thank you for making me depend on you. Forgive me for having my security in having a “strong faith”. Now when my faith is weak I realise it has to be grounded in something more.

In truth. In a knowledge of you not just in my head but in my heart.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I  am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will  be exalted in the earth”

I always just read the first half of that verse. But being still in God is much more of a reality when you know He will be exalted in the earth!

You are the God of this world. The king of kings and the Lord of lords. To the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

This knowledge is a sweet drink to a thirsty soul. It is strength to a weak mind and body. You are King and the world will know!

Thank you for the bible. Thank you for Your word that testifies to all you are. When all else fades, your word remains. The one constant in all of creation.

Your love endures forever.

Your plans are forever.

You are glorified and exalted forever.

Those who trust in You and make you their Lord will be with you forever.

May your word be my rock. You are my strength and shield.

Hope in you for salvation, not in myself, my strength, or in this world.

May I find comfort in You.

Make me free and bold in You to love without fear and to face life boldly.
